The heaviest snow fell overnight, but there’s still more to come for the eastern portion of the island.
A winter storm warning has ended for the Burin Peninsula, but according to Environment Canada meteorologist Brendan Sawchuk, mother nature is not finished with the metro region. RNC are asking the public to avoid any unessential travel in the metro region as many roads are impassable due to snow and whiteout conditions.
