The event will kick off on Wednesday, Oct. 19, with pianist Adam Young and fiddler Dara Smith-MacDonald.
Young is a decorated artist as he took home the 2022 ECMA Best Roots/ Traditional Album of the Year award.Melody, a fiddler and renowned step dancer, performed in this year’s Celtic Colours International Festival.Mabou Musical Mentorship ProgramOn Friday, Oct. 21, ECMA nominee fiddler Gillian Head and pianist Jason Roach. Head was nominated in 2019 for Instrumental Recording of the Year.
Celtic Colours International Festival described Roach as one of the most impressive piano players audiences will ever hear. Singer and songwriter Neil McDaniel will take to the stage on Oct. 22 and play a variety of instruments like the mandolin, guitar, tin whistle and Celtic piano. From Margaree Forks, McDaniel has performed frequently at the Keltic Lodge, Glenora Distillery, and the iconic Red Shoe Pub at Mabou.
