IPOH: There are incidents of"stick lots" being sold in Perak but no reports have been made with the state government, says Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad .The Perak Mentri Besar said he believes that there are such illegal activities happening in the state but no one has yet to come forward to file a complaint about it.
"In Perak, we did not receive any reports but I know there are such incidents," he said after opening the Riang Ria Raya agro-based industry products promotion and sales programme at the Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan building premises here on Thursday . Saarani had been asked whether there were such incidents in the state, following reports of these land purportedly being sold nationwide.
Saarani said people who wished to buy land should check with the district office or Land and Mines Department."Sometimes, people do not know and could get victimised," he said.
