Most areas in the country are either under general community quarantine or modified GCQ where most businesses are allowed to resume operations at a limited capacity.Roque said the government is looking at the balance between health and economy, noting that most of the new cases are mild.

“Habang tumataas ang numero, tignan po natin ang mga datos. Ang mabuting balita po, kung matatawag ninyong mabuti yan, karamihan po ay asymptomatic o di naman kaya mild yung kaso ng nagkakasakit,” he said. Nonetheless, Roque said the government is not ruling out the option of returning to stricter quarantine.“Hindi ko naman sinasabi yan dahil kapag lumala talaga, at nawalan tayo ng critical care capacity, o di kaya yung kanyang case doubling rate ay bumalik sa dati na napakabilis, wala po tayong alternatibo,” Roque said.

“Pero yun nga po ang ating pinapakiusap sa ating mga kababayan, pag tayo po ay bumalik sa mas striktong quarantine, baka wala na po tayong hanapbuhay na puwedeng gawin,” he went on.

KAguilarINQ Congratulations ulit ... no choice t i mo!

KAguilarINQ I agree, but government should provide and make sure everyone is wearing N95, or surgical mask, not bandana, not clothes mask. di nyo naman kaya sustentuhan mga tao lalo lang naghirap dahil sa kawalang alam nyo.

KAguilarINQ Heck yes! Only fools won’t understand the statistics vis-a-vis the implications of the protocols to our country!

KAguilarINQ Claiming victory prematurely?

KAguilarINQ Wala na. Sumuko na lang

KAguilarINQ Kung sana naka tuon lang ang gobyerno sa problema which is the pandemic kaya lang ,,,

KAguilarINQ Pinoy During quarantine : nagugutom kame... tangnamo duts. Pinoy After Quarantine : Ano duts matira matibay? Pilipino nga naman.. :D

KAguilarINQ Another alternative: Use the funds! Wag puro bulsa kasi-- oops, I mean 👀

KAguilarINQ We’re all part of the competition now - Survivor Philippines: COVID Edition hosted by Roque.

KAguilarINQ Yung COVID Budget satisfied ba kayo sa partihan?

KAguilarINQ Na-sad nga ba?

KAguilarINQ yes open the economy, because people are hard headed.. they wants human rights, freedom.. give it to them.. if they die.. they did it their way...

KAguilarINQ Reopen wala nga kayo ginawa kundi magpakulong ng ordinaryong mamamayan🤬

KAguilarINQ Bobo ka kasi pota

KAguilarINQ talo man sa virus, panalo naman kayo sa UP

KAguilarINQ talagang saddening ang news...but tama no choice but to open ang business kungdi mamatay tayo lahat sa gutom....masakit pro dapat na....even ibang gagawin yan

We need leaders who have compassion, have understanding of the situation, makes use of available data, and most of all, creates and implements a plan pf action.

KAguilarINQ

KAguilarINQ The administration can only think of their terror law.

KAguilarINQ 290B gone with the Wind ! They destroy the economy already and now telling us there no other option but to reopen ? Huh open for who? People afraid to come out there’s no cure ! Having covit 19 we need one million php in our pocket !

KAguilarINQ Wew.. totoo? Walang mass testing. Ano aasahan nyo? Bababa ang cases ng virus?

KAguilarINQ Balakayojan!😫😎

KAguilarINQ This admin (except OVP) will leave the country in ruins. I pity the next president. Matinding damage clean up ang kailangan.

KAguilarINQ The Duterte administration had four months to prepare for the reopening of the economy, to build emergency hospitals, to increase ICU beds, to hire more health workers. Etc etc Four months of everything to fight covid19ph in the Philippines But we got nothing instead.

KAguilarINQ if there were no corruption, no personal pockets filled, no pro-mainland obeisance, there actually would be ample funds to give ayuda regularly so people could stay home temporarily which, in turn, would slow down the spread of the virus. but then, the govt has failed us 😢😢😢

KAguilarINQ Inutil statement

Richeydarian KAguilarINQ Philippines will be the asian epicenter of covid. And you Roque will be the mascot of the virus.

KAguilarINQ Option ang mass testing gago!

KAguilarINQ No alternatives because there was no concrete plan.

KAguilarINQ Mga ganito ka sad?

KAguilarINQ it's this dichotomous thinking that is dooming us. It's either 'you suffer or you don't by going with our alternative'. saklap.

KAguilarINQ Sure. Be ready for MORE cases then. Quite sure you’re better equipped for that. Coz CLEARLY there’s a SPIKE. DOHgovph GodHelpThePH

KAguilarINQ It is only less than 1% of Philippine population that was affected by the pandemic. Yes, it is time on a calculated risk. The economy should move now.

KAguilarINQ In other terms: WALA KAMING PAKI

KAguilarINQ Winning na ba ateng? 😆😆😆
