Firefighters snuffed a house fire on Graham Road in Whitefish on Friday

Career firefighters from Long Lake and Downtown stations responded alongside ems and volunteer firefighters from Lively, Waters, Whitefish and Copper Cliff stations.

Upon arrival, they saw flames coming out of the windows and roof, and were able to confirm there was no one inside the house. “The fire was successfully extinguished using water tankers to bring water to the scene to support firefighting operations,” Sudbury Professional Firefighters reported on social media.

The call to firefighters came in at approximately 1:20 p.m., and as of 6:13 p.m., Sudbury Professional Firefighters told Sudbury.com the scene was still active.
