A 911 call reported smoke and sparks coming from the barn at 7:30 p.m., the fire department said in a media release. The first firefighters on the scene found flames coming from the barn, which had vehicles and equipment but no animals inside. Crews started shuttling water to battle the blaze because the area has no fire hydrants.
A second alarm was declared to draw extra resources to fight the fire, which was under control at 9:43 p.m.Recommended from Editorial
