KUALA PILAH: The Education Ministry will not compromise if a Year Five male student's allegation is true that he was injured after being caned by his principal in Segamat, Johor, two days ago.
said her ministry has already handed over the matter to the relevant authorities, and intervention sessions that include psychological support for those involved have been implemented.
"All cases are under the radar of the ministry. We will closely monitor and the investigation results will be handed over to the authorities. We will not interfere but turn everything over to the authorities," she told reporters after attending the Negri Sembilan-level Madani Education Mini Carnival here on Thursday .
Meanwhile, she said the ministry would give its full attention to this matter and let it serve as a lesson, thus making for a safe school ecosystem.
