New Western Memorial Regional Hospital expected to open in late spring/early summer 2024
SaltWire requested an interview regarding the status of the new, $750-million hospital’s construction.
Construction of the new hospital in Corner Brook, which will retain the Western Memorial Regional Hospital name, is scheduled to be complete this fall and it should be welcoming its first patients by late spring or early summer. — Gary Kean/Saltwire Network “Our transition teams will be onsite in the fall to oversee the installation of furniture and IT equipment, test clinical and building systems and finish plans for an efficient move from our current location,” said the departmental response.
