NNPP defeats APC, PDP in presidential election in Kano via xtrazine
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria People’s Party presidential candidate, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Kano State. He beat his closest competitor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, with 479,938 votes.
The results were announced at the INEC collation centre in Kano by Professor Lawan Suleiman Bilbis, the Vice Chancellor of Usman Danfodiyo University. He said Kano has about 5,792,848 voters, and there were 1,769,525 accredited voters. Kwankwaso got 997,279 votes, enough to beat Tinubu, who got 517,341 votes, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who got 131,716 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who got 28,513.If you enjoy this story, please do not forget to check out our other news stories:
