Nine teenagers have been arrested after police raided an Adelaide hotel room overnight, allegedly finding drugs and weapons.Officers allegedly found methamphetamine and knivesSA Police, including Operation Meld detectives, Crime Gangs Task Force and STAR officers, attended a hotel in Franklin Street, Adelaide just after midnight on Sunday.Nine of the room's occupants were arrested.
Police said a 19-year-old Burton man, an 18-year-old Salisbury man, a 17-year-old Munno Para West boy, and a 17-year-old Andrews Farm boy were all charged with breach of bail. An 18-year-old Craigmore man and a 17-year-old Blakeview boy were charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and breach of bail.A 17-year-old Craigmore boy was charged with state false details, breach of bail and had an outstanding warrant.They were all refused police bail and are expected to appear in court on Monday.Meanwhile, police continue to search for a driver after weapons were allegedly found inside an abandoned vehicle in the city's north-western suburbs.
A 20-year-old female passenger was issued with a cannabis expiation notice and a 17-year-old male passenger was reported for carrying an offensive weapon.
