We’ve finally made it. Whether you’ve liked reading what Mike Gould and I have put out every week or called for our careers, we’ve reached the final power rankings of the season. It’s been an interesting year with even the top spot constantly going to different teams, which made it certainly more fun than watching the Bruins run away with it last season.
The Western Conference playoff teams are all decided, but there are still two more spots left in the East as the final four days of the regular season approach. With that, let’s see which top teams Mike and I like the most going into the playoffs, which fringe East playoff teams we think should get the final two playoff spots, and which teams we think are the most deserving of Macklin Celebrini.
Mike and I finish off the regular season with our final edition of the co-op power rankings. I have my same old system in which I aggregate six stats to come up with a list that eliminates my own biases, along with a rule that no team can be above a team that’s more than five points ahead of them in the standings, regardless of where the aggregate places them.
