Dallas Stars all-star Jason Robertson says he’s doing his best to keep up the spirits of his brother, who’s out for the season with a shoulder injury.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. Dallas Stars all-star Jason Robertson says he’s doing his best to keep up the spirits of his brother, Maple Leafs winger Nick Robertson.
“He’s not going to make it down this weekend. But I saw him a couple of weeks ago when we were in L.A. right after surgery. So I’m really looking forward to him getting back in the grind this summer, training together. He’s going to be even more motivated for next season.”Leafs winger Mitch Marner was asked who on the team might be overlooked, or underrated, by hockey fans outside its fan base.
“You see the fans, how excited they are, and you see the city,” Dahlin said. “We have something really good going on, and we have 30 games left or whatever, so we’ve just got to keep pushing to get better every day. We have a young team. We have a chance. So I’m super excited for the future.” Dahlin is an all-star on merit, by the way. He has 55 points in 49 games and leads all defencemen with 24 power-play points.Capitals star Alex Ovechkin, now in his 17th NHL season, says he’s impressed with Connor McDavid, who could become the first player to eclipse 150 points since Mario Lemieux did it in 1995-96.
