Benoit led the pack with nominations in categories including album and solo recording of the year for Time Traveller: Side A, as well as entertainer of the year, Indigenous artist of the year and artist innovator of the year.

Fortunate Ones picked up three nominations, including album, folk recording, and group recording of the year for That Was You and Me. The East Coast Music Association is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the festival, returning to the host city of Halifax, where the event started, from May 3-7.
