JOHN'S, N.L. — Newfoundland and Labrador’s seniors' advocate is conducting a series of public engagement sessions throughout the province during the next week.
Susan Walsh, the province's seniors' advocate, said she wants to better understand the priority systemic issues seniors and families face. “On day one of my appointment in June, I committed to hearing more from seniors, families and service providers – the people who truly know what systemic issues need to be improved in this province and how to do so,” said Walsh.
Walsh will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual public engagement sessions throughout the province. Information from the sessions will be used to help inform the seniors' advocates' decisions in 2023.
