PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional must go on the offensive if they want to get the Malay vote in the upcoming elections in six states, say political analysts.
KOTA KINABALU: An apparently healthy newborn baby girl was found behind a four-wheel drive vehicle in Sabah’s interior Sook district.
The baby, still sporting the umbilical cord, was found by members of the public at 12.30pm on Tuesday, said Keningau district police chief Deputy Supt Nor Rafidah Kasim in a statement yesterday. She said police received a report about the incident at 4.40pm, informing that a baby was found in the village of Kampung Susulat in Sook.“The complainant then brought the baby inside the house before taking her to the Sook Health Clinic for treatment.
“The baby is in stable condition and has been sent to Hospital Keningau for further observation,” DSP Nor Rafidah said, adding that the case was being investigated as child abandonment under Section 317 of the Penal Code. Those with information related to the case are asked to contact the investigating officer, Insp Ho, on 014-6304 299, she said.
