The company behind Toys 'R' Us is opening a new location at Uptown Shopping Centre in Saanich, and is bringing a new store to the now-defunct Bed Bath & Beyond in Victoria.

The new Toys "R" Us will open in October, and is one of 11 new Toys "R" Us locations opening across the country this year. Putman plans to open a brand new chain of stores in 21 of the former Bed Bath & Beyond locations, called Rooms + Spaces.Rooms + Spaces will carry a range of household goods, from luxury towels to kitchen gadgets to charcuterie sets.. The 2,800-square-metre space is set to be replaced by Korean-American supermarket chain, H-Mart.
