“Those powers could be used to reverse the decisions we’ve made about the Gardiner,” Paskternak said. “Those powers could also be used to defund the police, which would be a tragic step for the City of Toronto. And those powers could be used to reverse the decision on Dundas Square, Henry Dundas, which is going to cost the city tens of millions of dollars.”
