Kota Kinabalu: The mandate has been given to the MPC (Malaysian Productivity Corp) to review business registration rules to facilitate doing business in Sabah and Sarawak.

“This initiative is implemented to facilitate and improve the efficiency of doing business in Sabah and Sarawak through mapping, reviewing and evaluating all existing business registration regulations in Sabah,” said Sabah MPC Director Edward Binty. Edward also said the role of the Economic Planning Unit under the Prime Minister’s Department had been taken over by the Ministry of Economy through the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living.
