The survey showed 41 per cent now believe he should not be allowed to stay and play in the Australian Open, down from 71 per cent in January, while 29 per cent say they do not care if he is allowed to play unvaccinated or not. Since then, the ban on travellers entering Australia who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19 has been lifted.
There are now 47 per cent of respondents who say COVID-19 numbers will stay with us at roughly the same numbers for months or years, up from 26 per cent in February, and 18 per cent who say they it will get worse, up from 8 per cent.
