Aspiring rare earths producer VHM says China deal is just the start of its plans for large-scale mine in rural Victoria.

“The company is advancing discussions with a whole series of European and North American off-take partners, so it is not limited to just one area of the globe,” Mr Howard said. Mr Howard said VHM had been working on the project for six years and put a lot of time and effort into community consultation and easing initial concerns.
