KUALA LUMPUR: The Type Three Health Clinic in Kampung Raja, which is expected to start operating next month, will be a catalyst for improved health facilities for the local community, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan .
"We commenced construction of this clinic in 2020 and it was completed on June 10, 2024. We are currently in the process of setting up the place. Ahmad said the construction of the health clinic by the Public Works Department aims to replace the existing Kampung Raja Health Clinic because it is outdated, unable to accommodate the large number of patients, lacks specialist doctors, and does not have a suitable parking area.
In another development, Ahmad said the ministry had approved the construction of another bridge across Sungai Besut in Jertih with a length of 1.2km and an allocation of RM118mil.
