KOTA BARU, Aug 13 — The new Menteri Besar of Kelantan needs to have integrity and establish good relations with the federal government for the well-being of the people in the state.
“The Kelantan Menteri Besar also needs to be people-friendly, in addition to being professional and not to overreact at issues raised by the people. “The new leadership in Kelantan needs to be led by those who look after the interests and welfare of all the people, regardless of their political affiliations,” he added.
Barisan Nasional fielded candidates in 31 seats in Kelantan but only managed one win, in Galas, through incumbent candidate Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim.
