The 1.5-km trail is described as a 'relatively easy hike'
The announcement of the new trail was made by the Kensington Conservancy on Friday afternoon.
"It is a relatively easy hike with only a couple slight changes in elevation, although there are a few spots where you need to watch your step for roots, rocks, and uneven ground. A trail map is posted at the trailhead," a release from the Conservancy said about the trail.Parking is available on the east side of the highway approximately 300m south of the intersection with Old Orchard Road and the trail starts at the northeast corner of the parking lot.
