“I watched him in the Pittsburgh series and he’s a pressure type of guy and he gets on loose pucks,” Tocchet recalled Monday morning of Beauvillier’s 13 points in 19 playoff games that year, and his three goals in that six-game opening-round victory over the Penguins.
