The former optometrist suing Gwyneth Paltrow over a skiing collision has taken the stand to testify against the Oscar winner as the dramatic trial enters its second week.

Terry Sanderson took the stand on Monday to recount his version of events and described the physical pain the accident caused.

On Monday, the 76-year-old described colliding with the actress on the ski run and told the court he had “never been hit that hard” before. "Two skis came between my skis, forcing my legs apart, and then a body pressed against me," Paltrow said. "I thought, ‘Is this a practical joke? Is someone doing something perverted?’ My mind was going very, very quickly, and my mind was trying to ascertain what happened," she said.
