NRL: The NRL 360 crew discuss the likelihood of Wayne Bennett coming back to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Jason Demetriou ’s two and a bit year tenure at the Rabbitohs has mostly failed and could be coming to an end, with one journalist believing it stems from private meetings former head coach Wayne Bennett had with South Sydney ’s leadership group .
“To me this points to the problem at South Sydney. Somebody who was at the club said to me, look the problem they projected was often when for example Latrell or Cody would get a bit moody at training, Wayne would call a halt to it, call in the leadership group, get them in the dressing room with the leadership group around and basically give them the rounds of the kitchen,” Kent said.
“He sees the cuddles, but doesn’t see the kick up the backside. And he said back then that could be a problem at this club and that is what has happened.
