NDP underlines family doctor 'chaos' despite physician gains for Alberta in 2022 ableg abpoli abhealth
Alberta NDP health critic David Shepherd put the spotlight on a letter from a Wetaskiwin family doctor Monday, giving notice that he’s leaving the province. Referencing the early 2020 move to tear up the government’s agreement with physicians to the more recent removal of the entire Alberta Health Services board, the letter says “this is a large reason that many physicians choose to leave.”
