KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — The National Action Plan for Senior Citizens is being reviewed to strengthen the aspects of the care and welfare of the group with Malaysia becoming an ageing nation by 2030, the Dewan Negara was told today.
“In line with current and future needs, the National Policy for Senior Citizens and NAPSrC are the government’s commitment to creating independent, dignified and respected senior citizens by optimising their potential through healthy, positive, active, productive and supportive aging to improve their well-being,” she said,
Lau wanted to know the government’s actions and approach in facing the expectation of the country becoming an ageing nation.
