: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s royal pardon petition has never been discussed by the Cabinet as is not the government’s stance, according to Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
Loke, who is also DAP secretary-general, said anyone convicted of an offence could seek a royal pardon as is a normal process in the country. “For us, we believe in the process and the wisdom of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to make the best decision,” he said.
