Two accused teenagers to remain in custody for at least two more weeks | SaltWire #newsupdate #newsCONCESSION, N.S. — Mounties in Nova Scotia have charged a 32-year-old man who allegedly passed out at the wheel with drugs in Concession on Thursday, April 25.
Just before 7 a.m., Meteghan RCMP and emergency crews responded to a report of a driver found unconscious behind the wheel of a black Dodge RAM on Highway 101.Police say the man was going in and out of consciousness when they spoke to him, and officers determined he was showing signs of drug impairment.
The man was then taken to the Yarmouth police station where he was assessed by EHS and allegedly failed a sobriety test. Following his arrest, Mounties say they located 1.5 kilograms of elvers in the man's car and contacted Fisheries and Oceans Canada officers, who attended the scene to seize the elvers.
