Prices at the pump in Newfoundland and Labrador are taking an unexpected increase on Friday, Oct. 7. FileST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Prices at the pump took a slight jump in price in Newfoundland and Labrador after an unexpected change overnight Friday, Oct. 7.

The Public Utilities Board announced an increase of up to 9.3 cents per litre to the price of gas setting the price at $1.828.Stove heating oil will also increase by 15.44 cpl on the island portion of the province and increase by 12.97 cpl in Labrador.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
