In a statement, CEO Rayner Teo said the spare aircraft will give the airline better reliability as well as further reduce the turnaround time and increase overall productivity.
“Adding aircraft in our fleet is an important strategic decision for MYAirline – it requires careful planning and consideration from various factors such as market demand, financial viability, and operational efficiency.
He added that the airline will be able to schedule more frequencies to its existing routes as it will soon induct a seventh aircraft to its fleet.
