'I sent it to my family members and said, ‘Do you see what I see?’'
Ruth Inglis was happy when she thought she'd won $150, but then she realized her scratch-and-win ticket was worth a bit more."I looked at it closer and thought it looked different and kept saying, ‘Oh my gosh,’" the Maple Ridge woman says in a press release from the BC Lottery Corp. "I sent it to my family members and said, ‘Do you see what I see?’""My son thought I was pranking everyone but once the dust settled everyone realized it was a real win,” says Inglis.
That real win means Inglis can retire soon. At the same time, she plans on taking her family to Mexico.
