Prince Harry’s new Netflix documentary series Heart of Invictus debuted on the streaming service globally overnight and has been praised by critics as a return to form for the Duke of Sussex.
The series spotlights the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event created by the Prince in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.
In the first few episodes, Meghan is seen attending the games’ Salute to Freedom gala to honour veterans and sits with the military men and women and their spouses backstage. Although there were high hopes that Harry and Meghan would complement Prince William and Kate Middleton as the royal family’s “fab four”, the couple ultimately left the monarchy altogether after 18 months.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties in January 2020 to pursue their own careers and now live in California with their children Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2.
