KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has paid tribute to Sabah's diverse cultures and beliefs, saying this has not prevented the people from living in peace and harmony.
In his Hari Raya greeting, the Sabah Chief Minister said he was proud of such diversity, adding that mutual respect for each other amid the melting pot of faiths and traditions has allowed the state and its people to achieve progress consistently.
Hajiji also urged the people, while welcoming Hari Raya, to reflect on what had taken place over the previous year and strive to do better for future success. "We also express our gratitude to all the front line workers, law enforcement officers and health workers who work tirelessly, to serve and protect our people and country.
