This fabulous blues and roots festival is returning to Deer Lake Park this summer.

Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival has announced its 2023 dates — and the big news this year is admission will be completely free.

The lineup of artists and more event details will be released later this spring, though we know it'll include food trucks, a family zone and more. The festival has hosted artists like Robert Cray, Colin James, Smokey Robinson, k.d. lang, Nathaniel Rateliff and Feist throughout its 22-year history. “By removing ticket fees we’re ensuring that everyone in our community will have the chance to come down to Deer Lake Park and enjoy a fantastic day of music with friends and family.”
