Indigenous activist Warren Mundine has called out the ABC for being biased during a heated discussion about the Voice to Parliament on the national broadcaster's breakfast program.
Indigenous affairs advocate and businessman Warren Mundine has accused the ABC of bias on live television during a heated interview about the Voice to Parliament.Mr Mundine, a leading No campaigner, appeared on the national broadcaster's News Breakfast program on Monday morning, where he was interviewed by ABC host Madeleine Morris.
At the start of the interview, Mr Mundine was asked whether he agreed with language Opposition Leader Peter Dutton used in a speech last week when heReferencing George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the Liberal Leader warned of a"Orwellian effect" where some Australians would be more equal than others."I think Peter Dutton's onto something. This is turning into a very divisive, very hate-filled campaign," he said on the ABC program on Monday.
Morris then asked another question, to which Mr Mundine responded by saying the ABC was"not even talking about" the issue involving the Supreme Court judge. Attempting to swerve the heated debate, Morris stated the national broadcaster has shown views from both sides of the Voice campaign.
