Officers, with the help of police service dog Hektor, found the accused behind a building
A 35-year-old is facing multiple robbery with a weapon charges after separate incidents on Sunday evening.
Police say that around 8 p.m. a person attended a business in the 500 block of Queen Street East. While there, hw had a knife pulled on them by a person who demanded money.While police were en route to the original scene, the accused allegedly went to another business and threatened staff with a knife and demanded alcohol.At around 9:20 p.m., officers, with the help of police service dog Hektor, found the accused behind a building in the 100 block of East Street.
Thomas Marttinen has been charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon and two counts of breach of a release order.
