Muhyiddin’s ‘fatwa’ a result of being friends with PAS, says Mat Sabu

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu says he did not expect the PN chairman to issue an ‘edict’ against voting for the PH candidate in the Pulai by-election.

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said voters must return the PH candidates in the Pulai and Simpang Jeram by-elections ‘to prevent the entry of negative culture into Johor’.

Mohamad said he was surprised at such remarks coming from Muhyiddin, who must have issued the “fatwa” due to the influence of PAS, his ally in PN. Muhyiddin had reportedly issued the “fatwa” at a PN ceramah in Kempas on Saturday, proclaiming that it was “haram” to vote for Suhizan.
