Muhyiddin arrested at 1pm, to face charges tomorrow, says MACC
The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission says it has obtained permission from the Attorney General’s Chamber to charge former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin in court tomorrow. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 9, 2023.
The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission has confirmed arresting Muhyiddin Yassin at 1pm today and that he will be brought to the Kuala Lumpur courts tomorrow to face charges. MACC said the former prime minister was arrested after he turned up to give a statement to the commission this morning.
