Party president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman says a major portion of the contributions came at the ‘last minute’.
Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said the balance of the money will be used in future elections.

On Muda’s audit report for its fundraiser held during the December 2021 floods, Syed Saddiq said about 45,000 donors contributed a total of RM 2.1 million to the Maribantu Flood Mission
