SIBU, July 15 — A motorcyclist and two pillion riders were killed on the spot after the motorcycle they were on was involved in a crash with a four-wheel drive vehicle at Jalan Embuau Song, Kapit this evening.
According to a Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Centre spokesman, Joshua Richard, 38, Jimbai Ujam, 57, and Sempun Lau, 51, were confirmed dead at the scene of the crash. The department received a distress call about the incident at 5.38pm and dispatched a team from the Song Fire and Rescue Station to the location.
The victims were believed to be headed from Song town to Kapit when they crashed with the other vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was unhurt. — Bernama
