The 41st annual event raises cash and toy donations for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program
The 41st annual Motorcycle Toy Run starts at 11 a.m. on Sept. 25 at CN Centre. The motorcycles will ride through the city as part of a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.
The event raises cash, toys and food to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program, which helps bring hope and cheer to roughly 300 under privileged families in the city each year. “I can, only too well, imagine the feeling of not being able to give my kids a Christmas” said Roy Law of The Salvation Army in a statement issued on Tuesday.
Riders are encouraged to arrive at CN Centre early, and the Salvation Army will be serving chilli, snacks and hot drinks.
