The Ministry of Transport (MOT) today has introduced the new myBas Concession pass, which offers free stage bus rides to
rides to people with disabilities , the elderly, children aged six below, as well as schoolchildren aged seven to 17. The pass is available in three locations in Peninsular Malaysia starting today; namely Seremban, Ipoh and Johor Bahru.
At the myBas Concession pass launch held at the Seremban bus terminal earlier today, transport minister Anthony Loke said that over 2,500 target group users will benefit from the travel cost subsidy implemented under the Stage Bus Service Transformation programme in the three aforementioned locations, which are also managed by the Land Public Transport Agency . The service involves a total of 58 bus routes, with 23 in Seremban, 19 in Johor Bahru and 16 in Ipoh, he added.
