Exclusive Aston by-election polling and campaign material revealedTwo days out from the Aston by-election, Sky News has obtained exclusive polling and campaign material playing into Peter Dutton's lack of popularity in the seat. Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell revealed the Labor polling, which shows the Opposition leader as a “net negative” in the seat of Aston. “The polling, conducted between March 12 and 14, has Labor behind the Coalition 48-52 on a two-party preferred basis,” Mr Clennell said. “This would be a swing of 0.8 per cent towards Labor. “So that has the Liberals just holding on to Alan Tudge's old seat in the Aston by-election this weekend.” He said, however, the favourability figures from the polling around Mr Dutton are “damning”.
