Fans stormed the pitch in protest during an A-League match between Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory. at AAMI Park, on December 17, 2022, in Melbourne, Australia.
Among those charged were 25-year-old man and 19-year-old man charged in relation to two alleged assaults on a security guard and a different Melbourne City player on the field. About 150 fans stormed AAMI park on Saturday night, according to Victoria Police, and Melbourne City's goalkeeper Tom Glover was hit in the head with a bucket of sand.
Police have now identified 36 people in total from the incident and are continuing to make enquiries.
