After Ces Molina and Ria Meneses exited the Cignal HD Spikers mid- PVL All-Filipino Conference, multiple teams expressed interest in acquiring their services. Sources revealed that the Strong Group Athletics , which owns the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles and Farm Fresh Foxies, is among those interested. However, no deals are imminent.
Recent photos circulating online showing Molina and Meneses with former Cignal player Alohi Robins-Hardy, who is associated with Farm Fresh, visiting UP Diliman were clarified as a simple visit to their former teammate. Molina and Meneses' talent agency, Avior Talent Management, announced their departure from Cignal HD Spikers on January 9th, stating that their contracts expired on December 31st. The agency expressed gratitude towards Cignal for the opportunities provided to both athletes during their three-year tenure. Molina achieved considerable success in her pro career, clinching the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference Most Valuable Player title and securing two Best Outside Spiker awards. Cignal libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig politely declined to comment on the matter when questioned by reporters
