The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced the suspension of the number coding scheme on December 24, 25, and from December 30 to January 1.
“Wherever your destination is, always remember to plan your trip, follow traffic laws, and drive safely,” the agency advised motorists. The MMDA and MMDRRMC have developed a comprehensive plan to ensure that residents of the National Capital Region are prepared for potential disasters during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
As a precaution, the operation center will be raised to Blue Alert from 8 a.m. on December 23 until 8 a.m. on January 6, 2025.
