The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) clarified on Tuesday that the dry run of the provincial bus ban on EDSA, which apparently worsened the traffic situation in the metropolis, was not an experiment.
“Handa po tayong makipagtulungan kung in aid of legislation iyan, kung paano maiibsan ang traffic sa EDSA. Why not?” said MMDA EDSA traffic head Bong Nebrija in an interview with DZMM.
Nebrija also made it clear that the policy was not just an independent strategy that was adopted by the MMDA.
