A Calgary woman who was reported missing earlier this month has been found deceased. Police say her death has been deemed non-criminal. 25-year-old Amy Fahlman was last seen leaving her residence in Hawkwood in northwest Calgary on Sept. 29. Her cousin, Trevor Miller, said Fahlman had told her family she was going for a drive, but that she never returned home.
In a statement on Oct. 10, police said her death had been deemed non-criminal, and that no further information will be released."We would like to thank the media, the public, volunteers and our partner agencies for assisting in this investigation," read the statement. Since her disappearance, hundreds of volunteers and family members participated in search efforts throughout the Waiparous valley northwest of Calgary, where Fahlman's vehicle had been found.
